How Many Lessons Do I Need?
According to the DVSA, most learners need around 45 hours of professional lessons, plus 22 hours of private practice to pass their driving test. Everyone learns at their own pace, so it’s important to choose the right lesson type for your needs.
1-Hour Driving Lesson
Great for experienced learners and focused practice. One-hour lessons work well if you’ve already built up some skills and just need to improve on specific areas. They’re also ideal for those who prefer shorter sessions due to learning needs or concentration span.
2-Hour Driving Lesson
Best for beginners. These sessions give us time to explain, correct, and practise without rushing. Beginners often make more mistakes, and with a two-hour slot, we can take the time needed to stop, talk things through, and make real progress in each lesson.
Mock Test
Usually done in a one-hour slot, this is a realistic test run to help you get used to the pressure of a real driving test. It helps highlight any areas you still need to work on and builds confidence before your big day. Choose 1 hour lessons.
Refresher Course
Perfect for full licence holders who haven’t driven in a while or want to regain confidence. These are typically delivered in one-hour lessons and can be tailored to your needs; whether that’s tackling motorways, parking, or just getting back behind the wheel. Choose 1 hr lessons.
What students say?
Karen Smith
I was really nervous about getting behind the wheel, but my instructor’s patience and calm approach made all the difference. Every lesson was tailored to my pace, and I never felt pressured. Thanks to the clear explanations and constant encouragement, I passed my driving test on the first try!
Jhon Deo
After failing my test twice with another school, I decided to switch — and it was the best decision I ever made. My instructor spotted my weak points straight away and gave me practical tips to fix them. The lessons were enjoyable, stress-free, and focused on real-world driving, not just passing the exam.
Maria Mak
I hadn’t driven for years after getting my licence, and I felt really out of practice. These refresher lessons helped me regain my confidence and taught me modern driving techniques I didn’t know before. I now feel safe and in control every time I drive
Debora Kalin
The flexible lesson times made it so much easier to fit learning into my busy schedule. My instructor was always on time, professional, and made even the most challenging manoeuvres feel simple. I genuinely looked forward to each lesson
